And even in colloquiual literature, the narrative is usually formal. It's the dialogs which are retained as colloquiual. Glance thru ananda vikatan once in a while :)

Vishy, wow! For reasons known and unknown, Coimbatore happens to be one my most fav places after I spent 3 years there for my PG. So whenever there is any mention of Kovai or any place around it, an unsaid excitement creeps in and that is exactly what your post did too. But even without the Coimbatore tag, the post, for some reason seemed very touching because as we grow we seem to have lost all that little joys and as I am typing this from work at 01:09 am, your post only substantiates that view. Thanks (again!) for a lovely post. Waiting for the next one :)
